Originally by: darius mclever i think scraping html on evegate to control it was violating the TOS. you are supposed to use the API for getting the data. There was some dev post making vague threats about future ToS changes a while back but that never happened and they have no measures in place to prevent you from crawling the site, either (wtb corp memberlists?). Also the API is always read only, i.e. you will never be able to send mails through it.
